McLex Shocker

The J-rock world is reeling with shock over the sudden announcement of McLex’s death. McLex was the drummer for popular 1970s rock band Shokudo, who disbanded back in 1995 due to the death of then famous bassist 'The Kenducky'.

According to McLex’s official website, he was found lying next to the PC with the Pokemon Diamond Elite 4 still flashing on the screen. Officials are still investigating the full cause of his death.

A loyal 20-year fan who does not wish to be named wrote in to his official website:

"Not many people admire and knew of this band. But it doesn't matter to me because I love them and will continue to love their music and esp the legendary McLex!"

Although there are many rumors circulating on the internet, representatives have yet to reveal official details regarding the manner of his death. His funeral is set to be private to only family members, friends and the other remaining members of the band.

growing up is always part of life

i feel a sense of achievement that i got this far
but a little disappointed that i still
ain't with you till now
but rather you're with someone else

i told myself many a times its just
loving the right person at the wrong time

its okay to see that sometimes,
i do smile from time to time
whenever things go my way
yes, i couldn't ask for more already
everything has been set into play
seeing 3 different ----------
when i was so madly into it

but those cadets made me realised something when it rained so heavily yesterday
that i almost forgotten that its the same scenario
i had when i was a cadet too.

when your instructors scolding you
asking you to move even when every ounce of strength
is gone from your body

where the greatest man on earth gets to be appreciated
i wanna give my heartfelt thanks to all fathers on earth
and ESPECIALLY my おとう-さん!

a man of great wisdom, knowledge and power
my dad is a man that never breaks down
tough on the outside, strong in the inside
but not every man is perfect
he has a weak spot for his family
never fail to care for the family
he'll sacrifice his time just to fetch his lil' son
to and fro from camp
even at 11pm in the night
i'll never forget how good he can cook his egg
and often cook in when i booked out from camp every friday night
his tender loving care and strong discipline
shaped me into who i am today

he taught me things that even the greatest lecturers in school
can never pass it through to me
he gave me the courage to stand up when i was down
he scolded me and even canned me when i was young
so that i'm on the right path

my dad is someone who puts his family before self
often he'll sacrifice the good food
his beloved soccer time
his sleeping hours
just to make sure i'm fine and i'm at the best

i can remember the times when we played together
the 'good morning' game when i was young
although he doesn't care much about me and my life now
i appreciate every single thing he did
and i respect his way of educating me
in return, i'm a good boy who will not do things he doesn't like
(except for a few. sorry dad!)
each and everytime when i made a mistake or did something bad
i can see the disappointment in his eyes
i can see the old wrinkles that pictures a thousand words
i wanted to say sorry to my dad so many times
but words just can't seems to come out

nonetheless, he is the only male guy i will die for
and the only male guy that is worth so much of a respect to me
even with injuries, he still carries on his work
earning each and every bit of money
so that our family can have a better life

and i found this entry seriously nice and heartwarming

really made me feel so happy for them
wherever they are in singapore,

the girl is just like many of my friends i know around me
falling in love with bad boys and stuffs
i won't say its bad or wrong
everyone got their road to choose

i got my 2nd ear piercing a few days back

not many people around me can tell me the truth
thinking of hurting feelings

its hard to find a trustworthy person i could say

nothing much to update this past week
just a LONG LONG time meet up with *mysterious old friend* on wednesday
finally received her present that made me really "awwwww"
and i passed her mine
though its nothing much laaaa
i really can't think of what to get her from taiwan mahs ):

met up with peifen bro on friday
since i head to yishun
in the end they went dhoby with me
2 games of drums,
lame chatting and dinner
really love them lots!
haha! funny bunch to be in with (:

booked in on monday
which is today...
damm bored..

haha funny chatting on phone last night with them & kenshin

SO MANY FUCKING THINGS I WANNA SAY THAT I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START!
shall break the post to different segments
so if you want to view what you're interested in

here goes!

Training in TAIWAN (020809-210809)

longstride (navigation exercise) was super fun!
i got to see taichung from bird's eye view
i got to carry super heavy load (about 20kg) up mountains
walking distance covering 50up kilometres!
the whole exercise was just walking and walking and walking
climbing and climbing!
don't know if its a blessing or not
raining during the exercise
it's actually summer in taiwan then
but cos of the moroco typhoon,
raining for almost everyday during the exercise
stopping our movements here and there
making us stain with mud,
climbing knolls and bashing through forested areas were damm F*CKING difficult!
but the overall experience was marvelous!
when you climb for like 30minutes just to reach the top of a knoll
it oversees the whole city
the view is breathtaking and everything else!
nice air, drizzle, cool wind, free from everything
just you and your good buddies
facing out standing near the clouds above you
and when you look down,
the whole world is beneath your feet,
the feeling is invaluable!

our training was disturbed by typhoon said to be
the worse in 50years
but nonetheless our field camp carried on
its always the same thing
damm fucking hot like 35 or 36degrees in the morning 9am till 3pm
and then RAIN!
damm! almost everyday is a wet day during field camp
morning is damm effing cold
that we had to burn candles and wear our gears on
to stop ourselves from shivering
imagine you got your uniform on
a thick vest that allows you to carry ammunition
and 4 sold fuel burning
you're on top of a steep steep slippery knoll
with just you and your buddy
sleeping side by side
because the only place to sleep is only like 2metres in width
you're missing home because its the 2nd week in taiwan
you're away from your friends because your habouring site is different
you're hungry and tired from the training
you're wet because the rain is till pouring
all you have is a none-working groundsheet
a torchlight
some biscuits and sweets
your weapon, your field pack and oh well
your buddy and yourself
its damm fucking morale low!
my load on that day was like 40kg!
i carried near 40kg over a 3km route
how nice! haha!
oh well, everything is over and im glad
i had my fun, my pain, my endurance, my exposure
my knowledge, my friends, my experience
and the best of all
my RANK! haha!
the route to being an infantry sergeant ain't that easy
i'm glad i made it through
ups and downs, in and out
sick and well
im an INFANTRY 3SG now and im proud of it!

ps; did i mention, the cooks in taiwan (a SAF vocational post in the past)
cook damm well! OMG
its always so good to eat food there
nothing can be better after going hungry and tired over training days
and when you see fresh food (not combat ones)
served on the table
you opened your lazy hippo mouth
and there you go
food that taste like restuarants!
thats how well the cooks are!
they're NSmen btw
how i wish there's still cooking vocation now
i wanna learn how to cook nice dishes!
